Remembrance Day Ceremony

This year’s Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held by the Royal Canadian Legion Colonel Talbot Branch No. 81 at the Aylmer Cenotaph, on Saturday, November 11th, starting at 10:45 am. Please join the Legion and our town in remembering those who have served and given their lives on our country’s behalf.

At the Going Down of the Sun: Aylmer and Malahide in WWII

Our exhibit honouring those who served in WWII, At the Going Down of the Sun, will be open on Remembrance Day, Saturday, November 11th, from 11 am to 4 pm. Please consider joining us after the ceremony to commemorate our town’s contributions and losses during the conflict. James L. McCallum’s book of the same name, At the Going Down of the Sun: The Fallen of Aylmer and Malahide, 1939-1945, will be available at the exhibit.
