A Warm Welcome to Our Summer Students!

June 4, 2026

We were very excited and fortunate to be able to hire two university students for the summer to help us keep everything running smoothly. We gratefully acknowledge the support of Young Canada Works in making this possible. Many thanks to Marie East and Quinlan Fletcher for joining the team!

Marie East

Marie East is a London local, studying History, English, and Liberal Arts at King’s University College. Gaining library, museum, and archive experience through their undergraduate degree, they aim to further pursue a Masters of Library Information Science at Western University. They are eager to apply their skills in digitizing and documenting photographs for Aylmer-Malahide Museum and Archives this summer.

Quinlan Fletcher lives in Tillsonburg and has recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a double major in History and Archaeology & Heritage Studies. She will be attending University College Cork in Ireland to complete her Master’s in Museum Studies this fall. A lover of local history and culture, she is very excited to be working with the collection at AMMA this summer!
