Opening New (Actually Very Old) Doors!

January 18, 2024

We are excited to share some great news!
For several months, a malfunctioning automatic door opener at 14 East St. was causing difficulties for visitors trying to access the museum and enjoy the exhibits. We had to address the issue promptly to ensure an inclusive and welcoming environment for all visitors.
With the support of a $1850 grant from the Aylmer Area Community Foundation, we were able to address this issue. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the board of the foundation for their help in making these accessibility improvements possible.
We hope that these improvements will make it easier for everyone to enjoy the museum and its exhibits!
